Commercial UAV Expo Commercial UAV Expo SPH Engineering , a Riga, Latvia-based developer of drone software and sensor solutions, has expanded its partnership with Measur , a division of The Hoskin Group. Under the agreement announced Sept. 10, Measur will serve as SPH Engineering's Master Distributor in Canada for a selection of specialized drone sensor solutions. The expanded partnership targets industries that rely on drone-based data collection in complex or hard-to-access field environments, including mining, oil and gas, hydrography, geophysics, utilities, surveying and environmental monitoring. The portfolio Measur will distribute in Canada includes EchoNIMBUS-MBES and EchoNIMBUS-SSS sonar payloads, EchoLogger echo sounders, MagNIMBUS and SENSYS MagDrone magnetometers, Zond Aero ground-penetrating radar systems, Falcon Plus methane detection sensors and Medusa Radiometrics gamma-ray spectrometers. Together, the technologies support bathymetric surveys, mineral exploration, subsurface investigations, utility mapping, methane detection and radiometric surveying. As Master Distributor, Measur will manage solution selection, product demonstrations, end-user training and first-line technical support for Canadian customers, including dedicated in-house training expertise. SPH Engineering will provide Measur with product training, certification and technical resources to support the sensor configurations customers need for specific field requirements. "Specialized drone operations are rarely about the drone alone. The value comes from combining the right sensor, workflow, and application expertise for a specific industrial task," said Janis Janums, partnership director at SPH Engineering, in a statement. "By expanding our partnership with Measur, we are bringing that expertise closer to customers in Canada and creating a stronger local setup for industries where reliable field data is critical." Aaron Dinich, national sales manager at Measur, said the expanded partnership reflects a shared focus on improving access, safety and data quality in complex industrial environments, and will help Canadian industries advance in the environmental, energy and critical infrastructure sectors with stronger local support. Justin Warren, CEO of The Hoskin Group, said the expanded partnership reinforces the company's commitment to bringing specialized drone sensor technology to customers across Canada. SPH Engineering develops the UgCS flight planning platform along with lidar, ground-penetrating radar, magnetometer and echo sounder payloads for mining, oil and gas, academic and construction applications. Measur provides sales, rental, training and support services for drones and geospatial equipment across Canada.
